Evaluation Process
Initial Consultation The process begins with an initial consultation, where a qualified neuropsychologist gathers information about the individual's developmental history, academic performance, and behavioral concerns.
Standardized Testing
Once the initial consultation is complete, our team administers a series of standardized assessments tailored to the specific concerns. These assessments measure cognitive abilities, executive functioning, processing speed, and other relevant skills. Tests are conducted interactively through the telehealth platform, allowing for real-time engagement while maintaining a comfortable distance.
Parent/Guardian Involvement
We recognize the importance of involving parents or guardians in the evaluation process. During assessments, they can participate by providing insights and observations that enrich the evaluation's context. Follow-up sessions are also arranged to discuss results and recommendations comprehensively.
Reporting and Recommendations Upon completion of the evaluations, our neuropsychologists compile comprehensive reports detailing findings, including strengths and areas requiring support. Each report provides actionable recommendations tailored to the individual's unique needs, which may include educational interventions, therapeutic strategies, and lifestyle adjustments.
Commitment to Accessibility Our remote evaluation services ensure that individuals from various geographic locations can access quality neuropsychological evaluations. This method is designed to be user-friendly, minimizing barriers to access while fostering a supportive environment for clients. Clients must be located within their state of primary residence at the time of all telehealth services rendered. Client location will be verified at the start of each telehealth session.
Payment: Patients are responsible for any and all fees for the evaluation. Payment for clinical services is required before the service will be provided. We do require a deposit at the time of scheduling ($1,000) which is applied to your final balance. The remaining balance is due two business days before the testing appointment. If full payment is not received by two business days before the scheduled appointment, Arrowhead Neuropsychology reserves the right to cancel that appointment and any future appointments as applicable. Reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule missed appointments within a short timeframe; however, this is not guaranteed, and your appointment may be scheduled for the next available opening.
All missed appointments and those that are cancelled with less than two business days’ notice are subject to a non-refundable fee ($100 for any intake or feedback appointments and $500 for any testing appointments). Should you choose not to reschedule, the applicable fee will be deducted from your deposit and the balance will be promptly refunded. If you do choose to reschedule, the applicable fee must be paid in full before rescheduling occurs. Late payments will incur a late fee of $100.00 per month. Bills not paid after 30 days may be subject to legal means of collection.
